Telephone Assurance (TAP)

Telephone assuance is provided at no costOWCS offers several outreach programs designed to reach out to isolated seniors. The Telephone Assurance Program is completely reliant on volunteers who provide regularly scheduled phone calls. Volunteers are matched up with isolated seniors requesting this service by an OWCS staff member. Telephone Assurance calls act as a security check to ensure that the client is well, if the client does not answer the phone during the scheduled call time, the volunteer will call the clients emergency contact person who will then follow up with the client.
