	February 12th, 2012 Sunday Social: Winterlude Drive Join us for our annual driving tour of the Winterlude sights and events. Drive starts around 1pm. Cost is $5 for the drive. Bring along some extra change for a coffee stop Call OWCS office to sign up, 613-728-6016.
	March 18th,, 2012 Sunday Social: Sugar Bush Outing Enjoy a beautiful early spring drive out to Templeton's Sugar camp and relax with a delicious sugar bush meal in prime maple tapping season. To register call the office at 613-728-6016
	Thursday Shopping: OWCS offers on extra shopping trip every month on the third Thursday. Cost is just $5 for transporatation, with pick-ups starting around 10am. Upcoming trips are February 16th, to Walmart, Baseline Rd; and March 15th, to South Keys Shopping Complex. To sign up please call the OWCS office at 613-728-6016.
	OWCS Shopping Buses: OWCS offers regular bi-weekly grocery shopping trips to the Carlingwood Loblaws to help seniors purchase groceries easily and safely. Trips are organized according to neighbourhoods, and run on Tuesdays and Wednesday. If you or someone you know could benefit from this service, please contact OWCS at 613-728-6016 and register to be on our regular shopping rotation. Cost is $5 per trip. Congregate Dining

Dining together The Friday Congregate Dining Luncheon Program provides isolated seniors an opportunity to go on a weekly outing. Clients come to OWCS for a full course nutritious meal which is followed by entertainment and dancing provided by dedicated volunteer musicians. Many clients use the OWCS van to attend these lunches. In the past, the Friday Luncheon Program has included outings to the sugar bush, lunch at the R.A. Centre, Dinner at the Race Track, special Christmas celebrations and many other destinations within a one-hour drive from Ottawa.

Throughout the 2010-2011 fiscal year 176 clients participated in the Friday Luncheon Program and 1316 meals were served with the assistance of many volunteers.

Cost: The Friday Luncheon Program Is $8.00 and transportation provided by the OWCS van is an additional $5.00.
